At Barbie B we have a passion for fashion that spans over 56 years. My first job out of college was with Hecht’s, part of the May Department Stores, where I spent 12 years working in their buying, public relations and fashion offices. My mom, Joyce, got her start in the industry working for her in-laws at their millinery stores in Baltimore. She then went on to work in bedding and bath accessories, before landing at Saks Fifth Avenue.  Together, we make a dynamic mother-daughter team.

 

We are grateful for the loyalty and support of our customers, many of whom have shopped with us since we got our start. To show our appreciation, we make donations to a wide assortment of non-profit organizations. We are extremely proud of our contributions to the community in which we live and do business and just as we appreciate our shoppers, we appreciate the importance of giving back.
